Vascular treatments using the Duetto laser system are designed to target visible blood vessels, including spider veins, broken capillaries, and redness associated with rosacea. The Duetto delivers precise wavelengths of light that are absorbed by hemoglobin within the vessels. This energy gently heats and collapses the targeted vessels while leaving surrounding tissue unharmed.

Before treatment, the area is cleansed and assessed to determine the appropriate laser settings based on the patient’s skin type, vessel size, and depth. To enhance patient comfort and protect the skin, a Zimmer cooling device is used throughout the session. This cooling provides immediate comfort, reduces heat-related irritation, and ensures controlled delivery of the laser energy.

During the procedure, patients may experience a mild warming, tingling, or snapping sensation. Multiple sessions may be required for optimal clearance, depending on the extent and depth of the vascular concerns. After treatment, transient redness, mild swelling, or temporary darkening of treated vessels may occur, which typically resolves within a few days.

Post-treatment care includes avoiding sun exposure, applying recommended soothing products, and following any specific instructions provided to support healing.
